Did you know there are more than 250 CHILDREN in Macon County WITHOUT A HOME?

There are more that 250 homeless children in Macon County. The Champions for Children fund is designed to address immediate needs of homeless/transient children in area schools.  If a teacher, guidance counselor, parent liaison or principal recognizes a student has a critical need, he/she can request money from the fund and receive immediate monetary support to fill that need.

DCC Marketing partnered with The Community Foundation of Decatur/Macon County to create and manage the fund. Your donation can be sent to them at the address below with the check being addresses directly to The Community Foundation of Decatur/Macon County with Champions for Children in the memo line.  The Community Foundation will send you a charitable donation letter for tax purposes upon receipt of your donation.
